Advocacy
The HACC is the voice of business for the Hudsonville Community and the liaison to local government. We recently helped form the Economic Development Committee to enhance and promote economic development, and to plan and implement economic strategies. We're here to provide services, opportunities, and educational programs to the business community.
Communication
HACC members receive frequennt emails full of information about local issues affecting business, Chamber member information, and notification of local events and relevant issues.
Legislative News
HACC regularly hosts meetings featuring local and state government representatives to keep members informed and to allow opportunities for interaction with those in government positions.
Networking/Education
The HACC hosts informative breakfast and luncheon meetings to offer members the opportunity to meet business colleagues in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. These connections can mean more business. Our luncheons feature topics on important issues that affect business and, also, Chamber membership pre-pays your luncheon attendance for one person.
Seminars
Seminars are held periodically on various topics, offering a more intense focus on matters of interest to employees or employers. These are usually smaller, more personalized meetings, designed to educate and motivate.
Group Health Insurance
HACC members qualify for group rates with Priority Health Insurance. The savings often more than pays for Chamber dues.
Referrals
The Chamber office is very busy with walk-in traffic and phone calls. We always refer consumer inquiries to Chamber members first.
Visibility
HACC membership brings your company visibility in the community in the following ways.
- Through a link on the HACC web site.
- Membership listing in the Community Profile.
- Listing in the "Guide to Goods and Services" section of the Community Profile.
- Listing on the Map of Hudsonville.
Community Safety
The HACC has combined with other area chambers to establish the Eastern Ottawa County Silent Observer Program to provide a mechanism for offering rewards to members of the general public for assistance in detecting and solving crime in our area. The Eastern Ottawa County Silent Observer number is 1-800-825-0221.
Membership Decal
All chamber members receive a contemporary and attractive membership decal to display on the door of their business.
